In collaboration with Miranda Moss and Araby Park Arena, we developped a workshop for youth aged 8-18, encouraging curiousity and creativity related to new technologies. In continuation of principles of democratic design and the joy of learning, children of all ages had access to a microcontroller, addressable LEDs and their very own jar to make their very own light installation. We assisted in the soldering of hardware and programming of LEDs so that children could discover the joy of applied technologies. One of the most memorable moments was when a kid exclaimed “I made this!” as their LEDs lit up the room. Here’s to making more happen! Thank you Araby Park Arena for hosting us.
